By Air
You will arrive at Ferihegy 2A or Ferihegy 2B terminals of Ferihegy Airport. There are no flights within the country, so you are advised to take the Airport-Minibus from the airport to Keleti Railway station. It costs about HUF 1,500 (6 EURO). By Train
You will probably arrive in Budapest at either Keleti or Nyugati Railway Stations (East or West Railway Stations). Both of them are located in the city centre. Trains to Miskolc start from Keleti, so if you arrive at Nyugati, you have to take the underground to get to Keleti (5 stops, with changing from the blue line to the red line at Deák tér). An underground ticket costs: HUF 125.
From Budapest to Miskolc:
By train: From Keleti railway station there are 5-6 Euro/Intercity trains daily. Travel time: approx. 2 hours, without stopping.

Arrival in Miskolc, from the railway station to the university
By taxi
You will arrive at Tiszai Railway Station. To take a taxi is the best and easiest way to get to the university. Costs: » HUF 1,600. Recommended company: Hello Taxi (black-and-yellow cab)
By public transport
Numbered buses run in all directions across the city, and even beyond the city limits. Another means of transport is the trams (No. 1 and 2), running along the East-West axis of the town. Take the No. 31 bus in front of the station and get off at the 5th (Semmelweis Hospital) or 6th (Petneházy) stop.

Take the No. 1 or No. 2 tram in front of the station and get off at the 4th stop (Széchenyi Str.). Cross the road to the left to the bus stop.
In both of the above cases change to one of the No. 12, 20 or 22 buses and travel as far as the campus site. If you want to take your accommodation first, get off at the hall of residence No. E/7 (13-storey building). If you want to contact the programme coordinator first, get off at the terminus (Central building of the university). It takes about 35-40 minutes to get to the university.
Tickets and cards are available at the railway station (in the bus stop) or at street ticket stands of the Local Transportation Company, or from the drivers. Price of ticket: HUF 96 (HUF 125 from the drivers) .
