A few words about his/her opinion about the University / Miskolc / Hungarian culture, etc.

The term ‘Hungarikum’ refers to something that is unique to Hungary. It comes from a combination of the word ‘Hungary’ or ‘Hungaria’ and ‘unikum’ which means ‘unique’ in Hungarian. The challenging Hungarian language, the traditional food, or its beautiful folk music, dance, and clothes. I could spend some lines mentioning many things I loved discovering here. Once in Hungary, I am sure you will find a Hungarikum that you will always miss.

- [ ] When did you start your studies here and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?

I started my studies at the University of Miskolc in 2020. I chose the University of Miskolc because of its recognized Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering. The available topics, the infrastructure of the University Town, and the readiness of professors were all factors that also influenced me to choose Miskolc.

- [ ] What is the most exciting thing about studying in Miskolc?

At the University of Miskolc you will have the full experience of a multicultural environment. You may attend many international events during the semester that help our international community to grow stronger. More than that, you will also be able to explore a very beautiful region of Hungary.

- [ ] What kind of career prospects does Miskolc offer to international students?

The experience of studying at the University of Miskolc prepares you to proceed with your career as a researcher but also to work in the industry due to its connections with companies that bring us real problems to work on.

- [ ] Do you have any recommendations for future students?

My recommendation for future students is to come with their hearts open and explore all possibilities that the University of Miskolc provides. To participate in activities outside the classrooms. To be curious and take this chance to discover their own strains and to learn new skills.

- [ ] What is your mission as a student ambassador?

As an International Students Ambassador, I have the mission to share my experiences at the University of Miskolc in order to influence new students that are seeking an international experience to choose Miskolc to be their choice for this exciting period.
