Decision-making procedures:

Applications are assessed and applicants are ranked in priority order by the Erasmus Committees of the faculties and the placement coordinators. Faculties pass their decisions to the Erasmus Office and the final decision (place of the traineeship, number of months, individual grant support) is made by the central Erasmus Assessment Committee. Applicants will be informed about the results by the Erasmus Office.

Erasmus+ traineeship priority areas:  developing digital skills.

The areas listed below are highlighted objectives of the traineeship:

digital marketing (e.g. social media management, web analytics); digital graphical, mechanical or architectural design; development of apps, software, scripts, or websites; installation, maintenance and management of IT systems and networks; cybersecurity; data analytics, mining and visualisation; programming and training of robots and artificial intelligence applications.

If the number of applicants is low, the deadline will be extended and will be continuous until withdrawal or the availability of the financial sources. Applications will be evaluated in the order of submission. Applicants will be informed about the decision by the Erasmus Office.

The Erasmus grant does not cover all expenses, students should be prepared for partial self-financing or looking for other sources.

Awarded Erasmus+ grant:

The grant will be awarded for full months, but will be recalculated when the participant makes a Grant Agreement with the university.

SPECIAL TYPE OF TRAINEESHIP:  RECENT GRADUATE (after graduation)

International students must apply and be awarded with the grant when they still have active student status. After the termination of the student status, applications are not accepted. All administrative arrangements (learning agreement for traineeships, grant contract, entry visa to host country, health, accident and liability insurance policies valid in the host country) must be made until the validity date of the residence permit in Hungary.

Mode of working: due to and depending on the pandemic, host companies will offer different types of work: onsite/physical exclusively, onsite/physical combined with online, or exclusively online.  Blended mobility means the combination of working in physical presence and online. The concrete mode of working must be declared in the Letter of Acceptance, however it is advised to clarify the details again before the start of the traineeship.

Scholarship is granted only for the physical part of the mobility.

Consequences of giving false information:

Submitting false data or documents in the application may lead to serious sanctions, even disqualification from the application round.

RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE APPLYING:

Both the application for the Erasmus grant and the arrangements with the host company require serious and thorough preparation. Students will face quite a big amount of administrative procedures. Please read and study all available information at the Erasmus homepage and keep permanent contact with the host company. The lack of information will make your preparation very hard.
