17. May 2017. 16:05

An international forum was hosted in April by the Faculty of Economics on social and solidarity economics, and the status of social enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe.

The event was an important element of the nationally-funded OTKA research project ("Social and Solidarity Economics in Post-Socialist Peripherals") conducted by the Institute of World and Regional Economics.

During the three-day long forum the participants were informed about the connected European Union developments, Hungarian achievements and results, as well as experiences in the Czech Republic, Poland and Lithuania and their implications. In addition, a there was a study tour to Szimbiózis Foundation's Baráthegyi Manor.
