SHORT DESCRIPTION: At the Bartók Béla Faculty of Music of the University of Miskolc the academic staff are artist-teachers, music academy graduates with extensive experience, most of whom also hold a doctorate in performing arts (DLA).  In addition to your chosen instrument, the faculty offers you the opportunity to perform in symphonic, string and wind orchestras, early music, guitar and percussion ensembles as well as in choirs.

SPECIALIZATIONS:

ENTRANCE EXAM: A video of a pre-recorded music material must be sent according to the announcement of the given programme. The admission requirements of the programmes are available here. If you receive a positive assessment, you will be invited for an online theoretical solfeggio and harmonics examination and interview.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The University reserves the right not to launch the study programme in case of insufficient number (less than 3 ) of applications. 

In this case the tuition fee is refunded to the applicant by the university. 

CAREER PROSPECTS: In possession of your BA degree, you can work as a performing artist in orchestras, choirs, ensembles or can study MA in Music education and/or MA in Music Performance.
