International Student State Representative for Recruitment (ISSRR)

As part of the internationalisation process, the University of Miskolc (UM) aims to increase the number of its international full-degree students. UM international students can apply for the ISSRR position. International student state representatives strive to make UM known in their home country by contacting the relevant stakeholders in their countries like former universities, friends and personal network to promote the English language degree programmes, the academic and research potential of UM in order to recruit international students from the given region. While doing so they officially represent UM towards third parties.
