Job description

Shortly, I am responsible for monitoring and analyzing geological data in real-time and providing critical geological insights to support operational decisions to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.

Favourite quotation:

“Always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:7)

What inspired you to take on a leadership role in this chapter?

Mainly, the idea of helping other young fellow aspiring students from my community to have the opportunity to access and experience such good education at the University of Miskolc. This could definitely lead to personal growth and academic ties, while concurrently strengthen professional goals towards future careers and, naturally, the international alumni network community growth.

What are your most proud professional achievements so far?

Successfully applying geological knowledge in real-time drilling operations, while gaining hands-on experience with data analysis and interpretation, and being in charge of the geological part of the operation for a drilling program. I have developed reporting, communication, and coordinating skills, with different teams. Adapting to the fast-paced environment has also been a key milestone in my professional growth within this role.

Looking ahead, what are some goals or milestones you hope to achieve in the next phase of your career?

I aim to deepen my technical expertise and continuously learn with more hands-on experience. I also aspire to expand my professional network and further develop my leadership, problem-solving, and both soft and hard skills that are valuable in the industry and beyond. I believe it is still too early to plan far ahead or take the next steps, as there is still much to learn.
