How to apply

If you have been officially nominated by your home university to participate in Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Miskolc, our Erasmus+ officer will contact you via email with information and instructions regarding your next steps.

  • Step 2: Choose your courses from the Course list
If you download the course list, you will find further information about the courses. You may choose courses from any faculty and at different levels (Bachelor or Master).

Should you have any additional questions about the courses, please contact the relevant faculty coordinator. You can find the contact details of the Faculty Coordinators on the website: Erasmus+ website of University of Miskolc

You can study languages (English, Hungarian, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian) free of charge and earn credits.

Please ensure that the courses you select from the Course List match exactly with those you list in your Learning Agreement.

  • Step 3: Prepare the Learning Agreement (LA)
    Deadline: 30 June 2026

There are two options to prepare your Learning Agreement:

    • Option A: Paper-format Learning Agreement
Please send the scanned document, signed by both you and your home institution, via email to Mr. Tamás Szabó (tamas.szabo2@uni-miskolc.hu). He will forward it to the relevant Faculty Coordinator for signature and return the fully signed document to you.
    • Option B: Online Learning Agreement (OLA)
The University of Miskolc uses the EWP Dashboard. You can create your Online Learning Agreement (OLA) in EWP or in any compatible system.

The person who signs your OLA (the ‘Responsible Person’) must be the faculty coordinator of the University of Miskolc. You can find their contact details on this page (Scroll down).

Important: If you choose courses from more than one faculty, please select the coordinator as the signing person from the faculty where you will take most of your courses.

Letter of Acceptance

As soon as our university accepts your application and study programme, a Letter of Acceptance is sent to you, with the completely filled and signed Learning Agreement.

It is strongly recommended that you get health insurance to cover your study period in Hungary. You are also recommended to purchase medical insurance in your home country (in this case you will be requested to pay for your treatment on the spot and your medical expenses will be refunded by your insurance company)
