Favourite quotation:

“We have to choose how to live our lives, as we are those who were pushed to the theater without being given a specific role, without a text in our hand, and without anyone to whisper to us what we have to do. So, we are doomed to improvise.”

What inspired you to take on a leadership role in this chapter?

I’m inspired to lead the University of Miskolc Alumni Chapter because of my deep connection to the university and my desire to give back to the community that shaped me. My time at Miskolc was instrumental in my personal and professional growth, and I want to create opportunities for fellow alumni to stay connected, support one another, and contribute to the university’s ongoing success.

What are your most proud professional achievements so far?

One of my proudest professional achievements is earning my Ph.D. It was a challenging yet deeply rewarding journey that required dedication, perseverance, and a passion for research. Completing my doctorate not only deepened my expertise but also strengthened my problem-solving, leadership, and mentoring skills. I take pride in this accomplishment because it represents years of hard work and a commitment to lifelong learning—qualities I aim to bring to my role as Alumni Chapter Leader.

Looking ahead, what are some goals or milestones you hope to achieve in the next phase of your career?

In the next phase of my career, I aim to strengthen my leadership skills by building a thriving and engaged alumni network at the University of Miskolc. I want to create meaningful opportunities for alumni to connect, mentor students, and contribute to the university’s growth. Professionally, I also aspire to take on greater leadership roles, expand my expertise in engineering, and drive impactful projects that foster collaboration and innovation. Ultimately, my goal is to make a lasting impact both within my professional field and the alumni community.
