The quality development plan of the University’s doctoral programmes includes efforts to ensure quality and quality improving actions. It guarantees a reliable operation and a control function which, by its content, sets requirements and provides guarantees for the participants (above all the students) for the successful completion of the training-research process. The quality assurance system of the University’s doctoral schools is systemic in its components and organisation, which means that its various components (admission, training, research, examinations, etc.) contribute to the result of the process in a harmonised and coherent manner, according to a set of principles.
Based on the quality development objectives set by the Doctoral Council of the University of Miskolc, the disciplinary doctoral councils define the quality development objectives of the doctoral schools. The quality goals are, on the one hand, the institutional goals, the missions of the doctoral school and strategy, on the other hand, satisfaction measurements, informal inquiries, feedback, based on the evolution of the indicator values defined in the Manual are formed.
