Steps to obtain a Hungarian student card
1. Request your student card at the "Government Office". Passport and student status certificate are needed. A document with NEK-number (NEK code) is issued to you - the NEK code must be uploaded to the Neptun system.
2. Visit the Students' Centre (Building A/4, room 20) with your Hungarian mentor student, where a temporary student card is issued. When it expires, you can request a new one at the same place.
4. You are informed via e-mail, when your student card is ready to be taken at the Students' Centre.
Do not forget to ask for a sticker on it, which makes the student card valid for the actual semester. You will have to ask for a new sticker in each semester - and without a validation sticker, the student card is not valid.
Steps to follow in case of lost student card
