The renovation of dormitories E/3 and E/4 will soon be completed. This summer, the apartments will first be used by participants of the U20 Women’s European Basketball Championship Division B.
As the first step in the campus infrastructure improvements serving students, Dormitory E/1 was renovated. The project continued with the complete refurbishment of E/5 and E/6 as part of the university’s sports development program. In autumn 2024, the external and internal reconstruction of dormitories E/3 and E/4 also began.
Final touches are underway in both dormitories, with built-in furniture already installed in several rooms. Hopefully, everything will be completed on time — which is especially important, as the renovated facilities are expected to welcome guests already during the summer.

The renewal of the dormitories is absolutely necessary to meet 21st-century international standards, – he added – as it makes the university more attractive to both Hungarian and international students. In the final phase of the renovation, the E/2 dormitory is next in line, with work expected to begin in the autumn of 2025.
If everything goes according to plan, all university dormitories will be renovated by 2026. Beautiful buildings, air-conditioned rooms, apartments with mini-kitchens and private bathrooms — in addition to laundry and shared kitchen facilities, as well as common areas — will welcome incoming students.
