Job description
Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the organization, ensuring the effective design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs focused on child protection, child rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of girls and young women. Lead organizational development, resource mobilization, partnership building, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement with government institutions, civil society organizations, donors, communities, and international partners. Oversee program quality, financial accountability, and institutional sustainability while promoting the protection, well-being, and rights of children and other vulnerable populations in Liberia.

My passion for advancing children’s rights, gender equality, and social justice inspired me to take on a leadership role. I believe that effective leadership creates opportunities to influence positive change, strengthen collaboration, and empower others to become active agents of transformation. This role provides a platform to contribute my experience, learn from diverse professionals, and support initiatives that improve the lives of children, young people, and vulnerable communities.
My proudest professional achievements include leading and contributing to child protection and gender equality initiatives that have positively impacted children and young people in Liberia; serving as Executive Director of Defence for Children–Liberia; representing and advocating for children’s rights at national and international levels; successfully developing and managing projects focused on child protection, migration, and girls’ empowerment; and earning advanced academic qualifications, including studies at the University of Geneva and University of Miskolc.
In the next phase of my career, I aspire to strengthen the impact and sustainability of child rights and protection programs in Liberia and beyond, expand strategic partnerships and resource mobilization opportunities, contribute to policy reforms that advance the rights of children and young people, mentor emerging leaders in the social development sector, and continue engaging in international research, advocacy, and leadership initiatives that promote social justice, human rights, and sustainable development.
