The University of Miskolc is celebrating: 1517 graduates from the eight faculties of the university received their degrees in the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025. The photos uploaded to the university’s Flickr album show the joy of the new graduates.
185 students graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology in the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025. In the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Engineering, 67 students, in the Faculty of Materials and Chemical Engineering 36 students and in the Faculty of Health Sciences 154 students passed their final exams. 186 students graduated from the Faculty of Economics and 73 from the Béla Bartók Faculty of Music. In the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, 346 graduates passed their final examinations, while 470 graduates of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences obtained diplomas in bachelor, master and specialised further education and higher education vocational training.
At a public ceremony of the Senate of the University of Miskolc, the graduating students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics took the vows of engineering and received their diplomas on the morning of 26 June. At the event, the PhD doctoral degrees, the Bosch Prize, the diploma of the Gábor Dénes Diploma Thesis Competition and the awards of the University’s Student Government were presented.

At a public ceremony of the Senate of the University of Miskolc, the graduating students of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Engineering, the Faculty of Materials and Chemical Engineering and the Faculty of Health Sciences received their diplomas on the afternoon of 26 June. At the event, the Honorary Doctorate and PhD Doctorate degrees, the Distinguished University Docent awards, the University of Miskolc International Student Ambassador awards, the Hydrocarbon Engineering Foundation’s thesis awards and the Student Council awards were presented.

At a public ceremony of the Senate of the University of Miskolc, the graduating students of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences took their doctoral oaths and received their diplomas on 28 June. At the event, the Honorary Doctorate and Ph.D. degrees, the University of Miskolc International Student Ambassador Award, the Szemere Memorial Medal and the University’s Student Government Awards were presented.
