The application fee (EUR 150) is non-refundable.
A partial refund may be granted if enrolment has not taken place and the Hungarian residence permit has not been collected. In such cases, the administrative and service fee (EUR 1,000) is non-refundable.
The full tuition fee, including the administrative and service fee, may be refunded in case of visa refusal for reasons beyond the applicant’s control or in other extraordinary cases.
A partial refund may be granted in the case if enrolment has not taken place and the Hungarian residence permit has not been collected, subject to the University’s accommodation refund rules.
A full refund may be granted in the documented exceptional cases listed above (visa refusal etc.).
Certain accommodation payments are non-refundable in accordance with the University’s accommodation regulations.
Refund requests must be submitted through the University’s online application system using the appropriate refund request form, together with the required supporting documents.
Requests submitted after the applicable deadline cannot be considered.
Approved refund requests are normally processed within 60 calendar days from the date on which all required documents have been received.
Refunds are made in EUR. Any applicable bank charges are borne by the applicant.
