The University of Miskolc presented its master’s programs during an open house. The event provided an opportunity for those planning to pursue master’s studies to learn about the programs offered by the university’s faculties, the admission process, and the services available to support student life.
On the open day, participants were given general information about admissions, faculty presentations, and personalized career counseling. Those interested could obtain information about scoring, equal opportunity support, student government activities, and the faculties’ own training offerings.
The event was opened by Dr. Roland Szilágyi, Vice Rector for Education at the University of Miskolc, who said that this is the first time the institution has presented mid-year master’s programs to students.
Compared to bachelor’s programs, master’s programs offer even more opportunities for further study. In certain fields, the University of Miskolc has a uniquely wide range of programs in Hungary, with twice as many majors available here as in bachelor’s programs,
said the vice rector.
He added that the aim of the program is to help prospective students make informed decisions when choosing their master’s degree program and to give them an insight into the professional and career opportunities awaiting them at the University of Miskolc.
