The University of Miskolc has retained its place among the world’s 1,500 most highly regarded institutions of higher education in the QS World University Rankings, which were published recently.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the most influential ranking organization in the international higher education landscape, has released its 2027 rankings. The World University Rankings are compiled using a comprehensive set of criteria to measure quality. Categories taken into account include the academic reputation of universities, employer reputation, citation impact of research, faculty-to-student ratio, the presence of international faculty and students, international research collaborations, graduate employment rates, and sustainability.
Ten Hungarian universities made it onto the global ranking based on their performance, including the University of Miskolc, which ranked in the 1401+ range. This result reinforces the institution’s leading regional role and may also contribute to the further expansion of international academic partnerships.
